Description

The Ibanez RG421EX in Black Flat is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for GBP 359 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Ibanez and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

Not all Ibanez RG guitars are made for shredding and huge dive bombs. Although you can still shred this fixed bridge RG421EX this guitar is made with a few modifications making it perfect for any style of high gain rocking out you may want to do.

RG But A Little Different

Normally with an RG you get a thin maple neck and a very straightforward basswood body that really compliments the floating tremolos on most of these guitars. The RG421EX is however a bit of a different beast as instead of basswood you have a mahogany body so you can get deeper crunchier rhythm sounds even from a small guitar like this. The neck is still made of maple and still has the iconic thin Wizard III profile so nothing is getting in the way of you playing what you want to play.

Quality Hardware

If you are looking at this guitar you most likely want a sound that is hot and heavy that will keep on rocking night after night. Whether it is as a back up guitar or as your first serious upgrade the RG421EX is a brilliant choice. Unlike a lot of the Ibanez RG guitars the RG421EX has a fixed bridge so you have better tuning stability as the bridge is not moving like with a tremolo.

About Ibanez

We have new and used Ibanez gear available on our website for fast direct delivery direct to you from across sellers in all areas of the USA & UK.

The Hoshino Gakki company began in 1908 as the musical instrument sales division of the Hoshino Shoten, a bookstore chain. Hoshino Gakki decided in 1935 to make Spanish-style acoustic guitars, at first using the “Ibanez Salvador” brand name in honor of Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, and later simply “Ibanez”.

In the 1970s, the Nisshin Onpa company who owned the Maxon brand name, developed and began selling a series of effect pedals in Japan. Hoshino Gakki licensed these for sale using the name Ibanez outside Japan. These two companies eventually began doing less and less business together until Nisshin Onpa ceased manufacturing the TS-9 reissue for Hoshino Gakki in 2002.
