Huge Tones, Great Portability:

The combo version of the RK50 boasts a 12-inch Celestion G12M-65 Creamback speaker, effortlessly delivering a strong mid-focused tone and a full 50W of pure British-made power!

With a full valve-driven design, comprised of dual EL34’s and 3 12AX7’s, this amp provides a versatile amount of tones depite it’s single channel. Kotzen is known for his incredible, saturated gain tones, and this amp delivers plenty of dirt when you crank up the gain. However, if you want crystal cleans too, then this amp can be easily tamed with the gain backed off.

If you’re a no-nonsense player that loves to just plug in and play, the EQ on this amp will suit you down to the ground. A single tone control gives you a wide sweep over the frequency spectrum, making it easy to dial this amp in for particular venues or spaces.

Footswitchable Boost, Reverb & Tremolo:

This amp does however have a few tricks up it’s sleeve, with a footswitchable Boost, Reverb and Tremolo! You can easily manipulate the Reverb and Tremolo using the knobs on the control panel, and use the boost to let your solos punch a hole in the mix!

Here’s what Victory say about the RK50C Richie Kotzen Signature 112 Combo:

50 watts of straight-up rock with reverb & tremolo

This collaboration with Richie Kotzen is a rekindling of a long-standing friendship between the celebrated American rocker and Victory Amplification chief designer, Martin Kidd. There’s a huge range of gain available from the single channel, including a footswitchable boost function. A single tone pot keeps it simple, while onboard reverb and tremolo give you ambience for days. We are so proud to be behind such a brilliant and unique artist.

112

112 usually refers to a guitar amplifier cabinet size that features one 12-inch speaker. The numbers “1” and “12” indicate one speaker of 12 inches in diameter. These cabinets are popular for their balance of punch and clarity, often used as a compact option for both practice and live performance. A 112 cab is versatile, pairing well with many different amps and styles, providing focused tone with enough low-end and midrange presence to cut through a mix without being overwhelming.

Combo

A combo amp is a guitar amplifier that combines both the amplifier head and speaker(s) into a single, portable unit. This all-in-one design makes combo amps convenient for practice, recording, and gigging without needing separate components. They come in a variety of sizes and power levels, from small practice models to powerful stage-ready amps. Combo amps offer versatility and ease of use, making them popular among guitarists of all levels.

Guitar Amps and Cabs

Guitar amps and cabs are just as crucial to a guitarist’s tone as the guitar itself. Amplifiers shape the sound—whether it’s clean and warm, crunchy and bluesy, or full-on distortion for rock and metal. They come in two main types: combo amps, which include both the amp and speaker in one unit, and amp heads, which are paired with separate cabinets (cabs) to project the sound.

Cabs come in various sizes, like 1×12, 2×12, or the mighty 4×12, each delivering different tone and feel. Speakers, cabinet wood, and even open vs closed backs all influence the sound. Matching the right amp and cab gives players control over their dynamics, tone, and presence—whether you’re playing in your bedroom, a studio, or on a festival stage.
