The Victory V212-VV Vertical Cabinets are designed to perfectly match Victory’s own small portable heads the V30 Countess and V40 Duchess as well as the Kraken. This 2×12 cabinet has been set up with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers that are perfectly voiced to work best with the Victory V30 Countess and Kraken dual channel amplifiers. Finished in grey vinyl this perfectly matches the Kraken for a great half stack setup.

Stunning Build

Made out of solid pine with a closed back design this cabinet has amazing resonance that works beautifully with not only the Vintage 30 speakers inside but also with both the V30 Countess and V40 Duchess amplifiers. Because these amplifier heads are so small using a standard 2×12 cabinet orientation would just look a little weird. That is why Victory have decided to set this cab up so that it sits vertically rather than horizontally. This suits the small heads perfectly making it look amazing both on and off stage.

2×12

A 2×12 (pronounced “two by twelve”) refers to an amplifier cabinet with two 12-inch speakers. This setup offers greater volume, a wider sound spread, and more low-end response compared to a 1×12. It’s a popular choice for players who want a bigger sound without stepping up to the larger and heavier 4×12 cabinets, making it suitable for medium to large venues and louder playing environments.

Cabinet

A cabinet, often referred to as a speaker cabinet, is a standalone enclosure that houses one or more speakers. It is used in conjunction with an amplifier head to produce sound in an electric guitar setup.

Celestion

Celestion is one of the most famous and respected brands of guitar speakers in the world. Known for their rich, dynamic tone and legendary presence in rock, blues, and metal, Celestion speakers have been a staple in guitar amplifiers since the 1950s. Models like the Celestion Greenback, Vintage 30, and Blue are renowned for their distinct character—whether it’s warm mids, punchy lows, or sparkling highs. Many iconic amp sounds, from classic British rock to modern metal, owe their signature tone to Celestion speakers, making them a go-to choice for players and builders alike.

Guitar Amps

Guitar amps are essential for shaping and amplifying your sound, whether you’re playing electric, acoustic, or bass guitar. They come in various types—valve (tube), solid-state, and digital modelling—each offering different tonal characteristics and features. Vintage

A vintage guitar is a guitar that is considered to be of significant age, typically over 30 years old, and often possesses historical, cultural, or collector’s value. Vintage guitars are highly sought after by collectors, musicians, and enthusiasts for their craftsmanship, tone, playability, and historical significance.

Vintage guitars can come from various eras, each with its own unique characteristics and desirability.

Vintage guitars often exhibit signs of wear and aging, which can add to their character and authenticity. However, originality, condition, and provenance are crucial factors that determine the value of a vintage guitar. Well-maintained and all-original vintage guitars with documented history and provenance tend to command higher prices on the collector’s market.

While vintage guitars can be valuable investments, they are also cherished for their playability and the unique sonic characteristics they offer. Many musicians prefer vintage instruments for their mojo, vibe, and connection to music history.
