The Victory Duchess Vertical 2×12 Cabinet Celestion Creamback 65 Loaded Open Back is now in stock . You will find it with fast UK delivery online for £899 with P+P. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Victory This product comes with a great warranty.

The Victory V212-VC Vertical Cabinets are designed to perfectly match Victory's own small portable heads the V30 Countess and V40 Duchess. This 2×12 cabinet has been set up with Celestion Creamback speakers that are perfectly voiced to work best with the Victory V40 Duchess single channel amp head for luscious smooth cleans.

Stunning Build

Made out of solid pine with an open back design this cabinet has amazing resonance that works beautifully with not only the Creamback speakers inside but also with both the V30 Countess and V40 Duchess amplifiers. Because these amplifier heads are so small using a standard 2×12 cabinet orientation would just look a little weird. That is why Victory have decided to set this cab up so that it sits vertically rather than horizontally. This suits the small heads perfectly making it look amazing both on and off stage.

2×12

A 2×12 (pronounced “two by twelve”) refers to an amplifier cabinet with two 12-inch speakers. This setup offers greater volume, a wider sound spread, and more low-end response compared to a 1×12. It’s a popular choice for players who want a bigger sound without stepping up to the larger and heavier 4×12 cabinets, making it suitable for medium to large venues and louder playing environments.

Guitar Amps and Cabs

Guitar amps and cabs are just as crucial to a guitarist’s tone as the guitar itself. Amplifiers shape the sound—whether it’s clean and warm, crunchy and bluesy, or full-on distortion for rock and metal. They come in two main types: combo amps, which include both the amp and speaker in one unit, and amp heads, which are paired with separate cabinets (cabs) to project the sound.

Cabs come in various sizes, like 1×12, 2×12, or the mighty 4×12, each delivering different tone and feel. Speakers, cabinet wood, and even open vs closed backs all influence the sound. Matching the right amp and cab gives players control over their dynamics, tone, and presence—whether you’re playing in your bedroom, a studio, or on a festival stage.

About Victory

We have new and used Victory musical equipment available on our website for fast direct delivery from sellers across the UK & Europe.

Victory Amplifiers is a British company known for producing high-quality, boutique-style guitar amplifiers. Founded in 2013 and led by chief designer Martin Kidd, the brand quickly gained a reputation for its hand-built amps that combine modern features with classic tone. Victory offers a wide range of models, including popular series like the Duchess, Kraken, Sheriff, Copper, and Jack, each tailored for different playing styles—from crystal-clear cleans to rich bluesy overdrive and full-blown metal distortion.

Many Victory amps feature compact “lunchbox” designs, making them ideal for both studio and live use. They are praised for their rugged construction, tonal versatility, and simple yet effective control layouts. In addition to traditional heads and cabs, Victory has also innovated with its V4 series of valve-powered preamp pedals, allowing players to achieve real tube tone in a pedalboard-friendly format. Victory remains a trusted name among guitarists seeking premium British tone and reliability.
