The Tone City Kaffir Lime is an overdrive/boost pedal based on that popular and familiar green stompbox, however with a few twists. Its mid-boosted character works amazingly well when running into an already driven amp, adding extra saturation and sustain.
It's equally as brilliant with a clean amp, delivering a bluesy crunch that works perfectly for solos and chords (think Stevie Ray Vaughan).

This added flexibility lets you setup the pedal for almost any amplifier, meaning that you can crank the bass control if you want a smooth overdrive sound through a thin-sounding amplifier, for example.
