The ThorpyFX Peacekeeper Low Gain Overdrive Mini Pedal is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for £215 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by ThorpyFX and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

The Peacekeeper is a low-gain overdrive that works great as a boost to your dirty amplifier or as a pure overdrive that sits on the edge of crunch. ThorpyFX have redesigned the pedal with a smaller footprint to fit perfectly on a Pedaltrain board.

Highly Controllable

A lot of pedals contain the entire EQ in the same part of the circuit. It is the easiest way to make a 3 band setup but it is certainly not the best way. To get the most out of the controls available, ThorpyFX moved the midrage control before the pre-gain circuit. This gives you even more room to customise your sound. The Peacekeeper can fit in with almost any rig thanks to its huge versatility.

The high and low EQ controls are part of an active stack that sits after the pre-gain circuit. This gives these controls the widest range possible as you can go from completely cut frequencies to heavily boosted tones that cut through the mix.

Clean Boost to Moderate Gain

With the pre-gain set low and the volume pushed, you get a stunning clean boost that can step your driven amp up a notch for leads. You can also use this pedal with a bit of extra pre-gain to really start pushing the amplifier with a soft almost driven sound that is suited beautiful for blues and alternative rock styles.

Premium components

ThorpyFX pedals are built to last. The unique recessed look protects the dials from breakage and the dangers of touring. Its metal casing ensures the delicate circuit is well housed.

Only the very best electronics have gone into building ThorpyFX pedals. 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks and a Burr-Brown Opamp deliver a crisp effect.

Guitar FX

Guitar FX (effects) refer to the wide range of pedals and processors that shape and manipulate a guitar’s signal to create different sounds. From classic distortion and overdrive to reverb, delay, modulation, and pitch-shifting, effects are at the heart of a guitarist’s creative toolkit. Whether analogue or digital, stompbox or multi-effects unit, Guitar FX allow players to express mood, texture, and dynamics in unique ways. Used thoughtfully, they can transform a simple riff into something atmospheric, aggressive, or entirely otherworldly.

Low

mini

Mini refers to compact, portable versions of guitar gear such as pedals, amplifiers, or accessories. Mini pedals and amps are designed to save space on your pedalboard or make practice and travel easier without sacrificing essential features or tone quality. These smaller units are ideal for musicians who need lightweight, convenient equipment for rehearsals, gigs, or home use.

Overdrive

Overdrive is a type of guitar effect that simulates the natural distortion that occurs when a tube amplifier is pushed beyond its clean limit. Overdrive pedals achieve this by boosting the input signal of the guitar, causing the amplifier to saturate and produce a warm, saturated, and crunchy sound.

Overdrive pedals are commonly used in various styles of music, including rock, blues, and punk, to add grit, sustain, and harmonic richness to the guitar’s sound. They are versatile tools that can be used to achieve a wide range of tones, from subtle breakup to full-on distortion, depending on the settings and the amplifier being used. Some classic examples of overdrive pedals include the Ibanez Tube Screamer, the Boss OD-1, and the Fulltone OCD, among others

pedal

A pedal is a compact device that guitarists use to alter their instrument’s sound by shaping effects such as distortion, delay, reverb, and modulation. Typically housed in a rugged enclosure and controlled by footswitches, pedals are designed to be placed on the floor for hands-free operation during playing. They can be analogue or digital, true bypass or buffered, and come in countless varieties to suit different styles and preferences. Pedals are essential tools for creating signature tones and adding colour and texture to a guitarist’s sound.
