The popular T-Rex Replica delay is back and better than ever, boasting a new, more powerful engine whilst delivering the same iconic sounds as it's predecessor. Built in Denmark with high-quality European components, the Replica blurs the lines between the analogue and digital worlds, for an immersive and enjoyable playing experience. The new Replica is built on a digital foundation, utilising high-performance DSP technology, but the direct signal and feedback circuit are pure analogue! The result is an immediate response and dynamic sound that will appeal to fans of both vintage and modern delays.

The Replica now features two different selectable modes, Vintage and Modern. Vintage mode utilises the same circuit that featured in the original Replica, where the repeats are passed through a compressor/expander circuit, making them sound smooth and dynamic. Modern mode delivers a more open sound with clearer repeats, more akin to the rack-mounted digital delay units that were popularised in the '80s. The delays can be divided into quarter notes, triplets and dotted eighths for a host of ambient and percussive delay options.

The new Replica is packed with features for the modern player, including tap-tempo, true bypass, top-mounted jacks and versatile MIDI options including MIDI-clock. With true stereo operation, the Replica serves up a wide range of digital and analogue delay sounds that are sure to enhance your rig and spark your creativity.

Stuff About Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

The Important stuff

Delay. Pedal — Pedals are the tools that let you shape, colour and transform your sound, from subtle tone enhancement to bold, creative effects. Whether you are adding grit, space, movement or control, a pedal becomes part of your playing rather than just an add-on. Exploring different pedals is about discovering what responds to your touch and helps your sound feel more like your own.. Stereo.
