Description

Here's what Supro say about the Analog Tremolo:

The Supro Tremolo accurately recreates the iconic modulation effects found in iconic amplifiers of the 1960s. With both Amplitude and Harmonic modes, the all-analog Supro Tremolo allows players to switch between swampy tremolo sounds and psychedelic modulating tones.

The Supro Tremolo features preamp and power amp sections, including an actual output transformer deployed to recreate the magnetic saturation characteristic of historic Supro amps. Along with modulation controls for Speed and Depth, the Supro Tremolo provides Gain control with automatic output level compensation. Additionally, the pedal features an assignable Expression pedal control to adjust the Speed function. Runs on 9-18VDC.

KNOB-BY-KNOB

  • Depth: Sets the amount of modulation
  • Speed: Sets the rate of modulation
  • Gain: Sets the amount of overdrive
  • Amplitude / Harmonic: Selects between Supro-style volume modulation and crossfading filters effect of the early 60’s

ICONIC DESIGN

Referencing the forefathers of American amp design, including the legendary tremolo circuit built into original Supro amps, the Supro Tremolo features the absolute most authentic tremolo effect ever offered in pedal form.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.

Analogue

Analogue equipment uses continuous electrical signals rather than digital processing to shape and produce sound. In music gear, analogue circuits are found in pedals, amplifiers, and effects that rely on physical components such as transistors, valves, resistors, and capacitors.

Analogue sound is often described as warm, organic, and responsive, with natural saturation and subtle imperfections that react to playing dynamics. It is valued for its feel and character, particularly in overdrive, fuzz, modulation, and classic effects where musical interaction is more important than precision.

Tremolo

Tremolo is an effect that creates a rhythmic pulsing by varying the volume of the guitar signal up and down. It can be subtle and smooth or choppy and pronounced, adding movement and texture to clean tones and is commonly associated with classic amps and vintage-style sounds.
