Description

The EastCoast T2 is a fantastic entry-level electric guitar that combines a comfortable setup with powerful, full-throttle humbucking tones and classic styling inspired by the earliest ‘T-style’ electric guitar designs from the ’50s and ’60s. Plug it in, choose your pickup, and get playing straight away, whether it’s rock riffs or pop classics!

Key Features

  • Perfect For Beginners – Built with beginners in mind and brought to you at an accessible price, the EastCoast T2 is a comfortable, lightweight guitar with sounds & classic looks to match – whatever your style!
  • Versatile Sonic Palette – The Poplar construction provides a tight, resonant tone, while the switchable humbucking pickups put a huge range of electric guitar sounds at your fingertips, from blues to rock to metal and everything in between.
  • Excellent Tuning Stability – The T2 keeps your strings in tune thanks to its solid die-cast tuners and hardtail bridge – so you can rock out for as long as you want.

Construction

The T2 features a solid Poplar T-style body for a deep, resonant tone without being too heavy. A Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard and 12″ radius fingerboard feels incredibly comfortable and gives a retro look & hitting tone that outweighs its affordable price point.

Electronics

The T2 is loaded with EC Humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions for a wide range of iconic electric guitar tones covering everything from classic rock and blues to more contemporary modern sounds. With controls for volume and tone, and a 3-way selector switch, you can go from smooth and mellow to bright and punchy with ease!

Hardware

With traditional appointments from every angle, the T2 looks every bit as good as it sounds. Featuring a fully adjustable six-saddle hardtail bridge and sealed, die-cast tuners, the T2 delivers excellent tuning stability and intonation. Learning to play a new instrument is tough enough without battling to try and keep it in tune all the time.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
