Similar in concept and construction to the new Larry Carlton G5A , Sire’s G5C range is designed to deliver that distinctive classical guitar sound from a slimline design that feels wholly electric. With a thicker neck and nylon strings, the Larry Carlton G5C guitars reproduce the sound of a classical guitar but without the feedback in live situations, serving up tones that are smooth and sophisticated.

• Hybrid acoustic body – A beautiful chambered Mahogany body is topped with solid Cedar to produce a rounder, deeper sound.
• Vividx-N Preamp – A more typical preamp for a guitar that uses nylon strings, it features a Piezo pickup under the saddle and easy-to-access volume, mix and phase controls.

The Larry Carlton G5C electric guitars feature a Piezo pickup situated under the saddle and an active preamp that comes with a 3-band EQ (for Treble, Middle and Bass) with a phase switch, allowing for precise control over the guitar’s tone and sound.
