Description

The Visitor from Old Blood Noise Endeavours aims to push the boundaries of what a modulation pedal is capable of.

Parallel Universe

This pedal is characterised by the ability to run modulations in parallel. As a result, the sounds you can create are in a constant state of flux; you can craft intriguing sonics from the ground-up that weave and stretch, pushing and pulling against one another in a fluid, continually evolving motion. These textures can be built using a combination of the three primary modulation settings – phaser, chorus and tremolo – and the two secondary modulation options – chorus and tremolo.

Creative Control

The modulation types can be quickly swapped between at the flick of a switch, while additional controls (regen, depth, rate and mix) provide a serious level of control and tuning of your sounds. However, it’s the secondary controls where the true unpredictability comes into play. The Secondary toggle allows you to swap from chorus to tremolo as the parallel modulation, and the Secondary knob then controls multiple parameters simultaneously. Experimentation is highly encouraged; welcome the Visitor into your life, you won’t regret it.

Guitar Effects Pedals

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.
