7-String

A 7-string guitar adds an extra lower string—usually a low B—beyond the standard six strings, giving players extended range and more versatility. This extra string lets guitarists reach deeper, heavier tones often favoured in genres like metal, progressive rock, and jazz fusion. The added string expands chord voicings, scale options, and riffs, making 7-string guitars popular for those seeking both powerful rhythm and melodic freedom. While slightly larger and sometimes a bit trickier to play at first, they open up a broader sonic palette for creative expression.

Bass

Bass is at the heart of the rhythm section, and we’ve got everything you need to build your perfect setup. From powerful bass amps and deep, rich effects to essential accessories like strings, straps, and cases, this category covers it all. Whether you’re a beginner laying down your first grooves or a gigging bassist shaping your signature tone, you’ll find top gear from trusted brands right here. Dive into our full range and take your low end to the next level.

Bass Guitars

The bass guitar is the backbone of many musical styles, delivering the low-end power that holds everything together. Designed to play deep, resonant notes, it typically has four strings—though five- and six-string models are also popular—and comes in both fretted and fretless versions. Bass guitars can be electric or acoustic, with solid or hollow bodies, and are used across genres from rock and funk to jazz and reggae. In this category, you’ll find a wide selection of bass guitars to suit all levels, from beginner to pro, each built to provide great tone, feel, and reliability.

Blue

Blue guitars have a cool, confident presence that stands out without being too flashy. Whether it’s a deep midnight blue, a bright metallic finish, or a vintage pastel hue, a blue guitar often strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern. Many players are drawn to blue for its calming vibe and stage-ready aesthetic—it can feel soulful, moody, or edgy depending on the shade and style. It’s a colour that turns heads without shouting, making it a favourite for those who like to express a bit of personality through their gear.

About Ibanez

We have new and used Ibanez musical equipment available on our website for fast direct delivery from sellers across the UK & Europe.

The Hoshino Gakki company began in 1908 as the musical instrument sales division of the Hoshino Shoten, a bookstore chain. Hoshino Gakki decided in 1935 to make Spanish-style acoustic guitars, at first using the “Ibanez Salvador” brand name in honor of Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, and later simply “Ibanez”.

In the 1970s, the Nisshin Onpa company who owned the Maxon brand name, developed and began selling a series of effect pedals in Japan. Hoshino Gakki licensed these for sale using the name Ibanez outside Japan. These two companies eventually began doing less and less business together until Nisshin Onpa ceased manufacturing the TS-9 reissue for Hoshino Gakki in 2002.
