The Ibanez RGRB720 7 String Black is a heavy metal machine designed to give you all the power and playability you’ll need to get shredding. Featuring a Wizard II 3-piece maple neck, it provides an ultra-thin and sturdy profile, ensuring seamless shredding capabilities. Wizard II necks are known for their easy navigation, especially when it comes to providing an optimum profile for metalheads to manoeuvre. The ebony fretboard offers a crisp tonal response with tight lows and a rich sustain, while jumbo frets enhance precision and ease of play, particularly for intricate lead work and screaming solos. With a Nyatoh body, this guitar delivers warm mid-low frequencies that add depth to its overall sound. Equipped with DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers, the RGRB720 delivers high-output, powerful tones with exceptional clarity and harmonic overtones. The dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch provides ten versatile sound options, including realistic single-coil tones. You’ll be able to let out the iconic metal screams and squeals, as well as the devastating DiMarzio D humbucking heaviness. The Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge ensures stable tuning and a comfortable access to seamless sweep picking and swift soloing. Gotoh machine heads ensure precise tuning, which is needed given the intense performances that this metal monster will inspire. Luminescent side dots complete the package, letting you shred through the shadows without a problem. Click Read More to view images, full details, and to place your order.

Black

Black is a classic and versatile colour choice for guitars, amps, pedals, and accessories. It’s sleek, timeless, and suits every style—from understated elegance to full-on rock attitude. Whether you’re after a high-gloss finish on a guitar, a rugged black amp for the stage, or matching accessories, this category brings together all things black in the world of music gear. Ideal for those who prefer a bold, professional look that never goes out of style.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibrations into an electrical signal, which is then amplified. Unlike acoustic guitars, they rely on amplification for volume and tone shaping, making them highly versatile in genres like rock, blues, jazz, and metal. Electric guitars come in many body styles—solid, semi-hollow, and hollow—and feature different pickup configurations, neck types, and hardware. From smooth clean tones to aggressive distortion, they offer a wide sonic range, making them the backbone of modern guitar music.

About Ibanez

We have new and used Ibanez musical equipment available on our website for fast direct delivery from sellers across the UK & Europe.

The Hoshino Gakki company began in 1908 as the musical instrument sales division of the Hoshino Shoten, a bookstore chain. Hoshino Gakki decided in 1935 to make Spanish-style acoustic guitars, at first using the “Ibanez Salvador” brand name in honor of Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, and later simply “Ibanez”.

In the 1970s, the Nisshin Onpa company who owned the Maxon brand name, developed and began selling a series of effect pedals in Japan. Hoshino Gakki licensed these for sale using the name Ibanez outside Japan. These two companies eventually began doing less and less business together until Nisshin Onpa ceased manufacturing the TS-9 reissue for Hoshino Gakki in 2002.
