The Gibson Kirk Hammett Greenybucker reverse polarity alnico 2 pickup set gives you the tonal power of Peter Green, Gary Moore, Kirk Hammett in one. The distinctive sound in these pickups is thanks to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity and the out-of-phase middle switch position giving you a wide sonic palette allowing you to experiment with the classic rock tones produced by Gary Moore in songs such as “Oh Pretty Woman”, or by Peter Green himself in “Albatross”. Currently these pickups are famous for being used in Kirk Hammett’s ‘Greeny’ Les Paul, showing how versatile the Greenybucker’s are allowing you to achieve a multitude of tones.
