A true Fender classic, this 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb amplifier from Fender draws from the most authentic, original Fender tones. The well-known "Silverface" panel represents an era where Fender amps were a staple, go-to tube amp for performers and studios throughout the rock 'n' roll world.

The 68 Custom Deluxe reverb features a 1×12" Celestion speaker, with reverb and tremolo on both the "Custom" and "Vintage" channels, the 68 Custom Deluxe delivers big sounds from an amp that is portable enough to take from gig to gig.

Here's what Fender say about the 1968 Custom Deluxe Reverb Amp

1968 was a transitional year for Fender amps, with tone that was still pure Fender but a look that was brand new. With a silver-and-turquoise front panel and classy aluminum "drip edge" grille cloth trim, the Deluxe Reverb received a fresh new face as it remained the ideal recording and performing amp. Small, light and moderately powered, it produced big tube tone, with world-class Fender reverb and vibrato effects. For countless guitarists ever since, the Deluxe Reverb has been the go-to amp for classic Fender sound.

The '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb Amp pays tribute to the classic look, sound and performance of Fender's late-'60s "silverface" amps. In a special twist, both channels boast reverb and tremolo, and the "custom" channel has a modified Bassman tone stack that gives modern players greater tonal flexibility with pedals. The amp also features quicker gain onset and reduced negative feedback for greater touch sensitivity. The '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb's single 12" Celestion G12V-70 speaker also delivers a more distinctively rock 'n' roll flavor.

Amplifier

An amplifier, or amp, is a device that boosts the electrical signal from your guitar to produce sound through speakers. It plays a crucial role in shaping your tone and controlling volume. Amplifiers come in various types, including valve (tube), solid-state, and digital modelling, each offering different sound characteristics. Whether used for practice, recording, or live performance, an amp helps bring your guitar’s voice to life with clarity, power, and personality.

Custom

Custom refers to instruments or gear that are specially made or modified to meet a player’s specific preferences and requirements. Custom guitars, amps, or pedals often feature unique designs, upgraded components, or personalised aesthetics that set them apart from standard production models. This category is ideal for musicians looking for one-of-a-kind equipment tailored to their playing style, sound, and look, offering greater attention to detail, craftsmanship, and exclusivity.

Deluxe

A deluxe guitar might have higher-quality pickups, special finishes, or finer craftsmanship, while a deluxe edition of an album could include bonus tracks or special packaging. The word suggests something that’s a step above the basic.

Guitar

Here at GPAS we have everything guitar from music to guitars amps pedals and stuff. The guitar is a versatile stringed instrument played across countless genres, from rock and blues to classical and jazz.

Typically featuring six strings, it produces sound by vibrating strings stretched over a wooden body or solid frame, amplified acoustically or electronically.

We have Guitars in all types, including acoustic, electric, bass guitars and electro-acoustic, each offering different tonal characteristics and playing styles. For many, the guitar is both a tool of expression and a lifelong obsession—lending itself equally to raw power, subtle nuance, and everything in between.

Guitar Amps

Guitar amps are essential for shaping and amplifying your sound, whether you’re playing electric, acoustic, or bass guitar. They come in various types—valve (tube), solid-state, and digital modelling—each offering different tonal characteristics and features. From compact practice amps to powerful stage-ready combos and heads with matching cabs, this category covers all your amplification needs. We stock a wide range from trusted brands, offering everything from clean tones to all-out distortion, perfect for home practice, recording, or live performance.

Reverb

Reverb, short for reverberation, is an essential guitar effect that simulates the natural reflections of sound in a physical space, such as a room, hall, or cathedral. It adds depth, ambiance, and spaciousness to the guitar’s sound by creating a series of discrete echoes that decay over time, mimicking the way sound reverberates in different environments. Reverb pedals offer controls for adjusting parameters such as decay time (the length of the reverb tail), pre-delay (the time between the original signal and the onset of the reverb), and mix (the balance between the dry and reverberated signals). By adjusting these parameters, guitarists can achieve a wide range of reverb effects, from subtle room ambience to lush, expansive reverberation. Reverb is widely used across various music genres, including rock, jazz, ambient, and electronic music, to add depth, dimension, and realism to guitar tones, creating a sense of space and immersion in the sound. Popular reverb pedal models include the Strymon BigSky, Boss RV-6, and Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail.
