The Ibanez RGT1221PB Electric Guitar takes one of the most iconic guitar shapes and styles and turns it into a high-performance shred machine. Designed for speed, strength, and reliability, the RGT1221PB features a Wizard III Maple neck, jumbo frets, a Poplar Burl top and Basswood body for a dark tonal resonance, and a set of DiMarzio Air Norton, and The Tone Zone humbucker pickups. The RG is precise, articulate, and in every way a performance-built workhorse.

Wizard III Neck

Durable, reliable, and comfortable, the neck on this electric guitar contributes to the rigidity and sustain in feel and tone to give you a performance-focused playing experience. Complimented by the satin polyurethane finish, you’ll be able to navigate the neck with ease to play for hours on end. The Wizard neck shape provides a flat, thin profile that pins you even close to the fretboard, perfect for sweep picking or shredding, designed for the high-performance player.
