The imposing Ciokolate is the flagship Cioks power supply. Offering unprecedented output, versatility and rugged build-quality, this really is delicious pedalboard power at its finest! The Ciokolate was created to mark the 20th anniversary of Cioks – and what better way to celebrate than to create the power supply to end all power supplies?

The Ciokolate marks the culmination of Cioks' engineering prowess, their years of experience and their passion for pedalboard efficiency. If you've got a big, power-hungry board, the Ciokolate will fit the bill.

With a whopping 16 outputs, you've got a near endless combination of voltages to choose from – anything from 9V to 40V is possible. You've also got AC and DC compatibility, with 10 of the 16 outputs being isolated for minimal unwanted noise and maximum efficiency. As with much of the Cioks range, the Ciokolate can be extended via their broad of range of accessories; there's nothing this workhorse of a PSU can't do.

16 Ohm

16 ohm refers to the electrical impedance rating of a guitar speaker or amplifier output. Impedance affects how efficiently power is transferred from the amp to the speaker and influences tone and volume. A 16-ohm speaker cabinet or output is less common than 8-ohm or 4-ohm options but can be used to match certain amps or to connect multiple cabinets in series or parallel. Matching impedance correctly is important to avoid damaging equipment and to ensure the best sound quality and performance from your gear.

Guitar FX

Guitar FX (effects) refer to the wide range of pedals and processors that shape and manipulate a guitar’s signal to create different sounds. From classic distortion and overdrive to reverb, delay, modulation, and pitch-shifting, effects are at the heart of a guitarist’s creative toolkit. Whether analogue or digital, stompbox or multi-effects unit, Guitar FX allow players to express mood, texture, and dynamics in unique ways. Used thoughtfully, they can transform a simple riff into something atmospheric, aggressive, or entirely otherworldly.

supply

A power supply for pedals is a device that provides stable, isolated electrical power to multiple effects pedals at once. Instead of using individual batteries or wall adapters, a good power supply ensures each pedal gets the correct voltage and current, reducing noise and hum.

Many pedal power supplies come with multiple outputs—some isolated to prevent ground loops—and can handle different voltage requirements (like 9V, 12V, or even 18V). Using a reliable power supply keeps your pedalboard neat, efficient, and your tone clean and consistent during rehearsals and gigs.
