Small Bodyshape

This is a small body acoustic, around the most petite mid-range size available. Perfect for taking with you on the road or picking up for a quick play whenever you walk past at home. The S series produces crystal clear sound projection, ideal when paired with vocals. 

Smaller-sized guitars have been used extensively since the 18th century in duets or for singer/songwriters because of the way they intertwine with the vocals. 

Body and Neck

Owner and founder of Lowden Guitars, George Lowden, helped create the distinctive style of these acoustics. Its unique bevelled soundhole provides excellent low end control, especially when combined with the outstanding LR Baggs Element undersaddle pickup. Hook up the S series to an acoustic amp or PA system for larger gigs.

Standard specs across the range include a warm, smooth Mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard and a matching bridge, so you'll be comfortable playing for extended periods of time. You get the pick of a solid wood top and body. This particular model is made of a rich Santos Rosewood body and snappy-sounding Sitka Spruce top.

At just under a 25" scale length, the S shape is great for fast playing as the jump between frets is smaller than the average dreadnought or jumbo acoustic. That also means it's an excellent choice for smaller hands or younger players.

Environmentally Friendly

All Sheeran By Lowden guitars are built using carefully selected tonewoods to get the most out of the materials. They're only sourced from naturally felled trees. Each time a tree is used, another is planted in its stead to keep the environment happy. 

The reliable TUSQ nut is a substitute for many a guitar's real bone nut and functions as well as, if not better than the regular appointment.
