Available for a limited time, the GP-X2E Ziricote Special is an exciting new addition to the X Series, introducing a non-cutaway Grand Performance model for players who prefer a sleek, full-body design with rich, balanced tone. This shape strikes the perfect balance between a Dreadnought and a 000, offering bold projection, a dynamic voice, and just the right amount of bass—all while remaining comfortable to hold and play. Whether you’re strumming full-bodied chords or exploring intricate fingerstyle work, the GP-X2E Ziricote Special expands the X Series lineup with even more variety and versatility—because every player deserves a guitar that’s truly made to play.

A solid sapele top gives this guitar a warm, woody tone with punchy midrange and clear, airy trebles, while ziricote-patterned high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides offer durability and striking aesthetics. Inside, scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance for a dynamic and responsive sound. A hand-applied finish helps the top maintain a natural look that complements the guitar’s bold sound.

With its Performing Artist neck profile and high-performance taper, the GP-X2E Ziricote Special is built for smooth, effortless playability. The select hardwood fingerboard features faux mother-of-pearl diamond and square inlays, adding a refined, traditional touch. Satin chrome enclosed gear tuners ensure reliable tuning stability, so you can focus on your music without interruption. While this model forgoes a cutaway, the Grand Performance body still provides easy upper-fret access thanks to its sleek, ergonomic shape.

When it’s time to plug in, Martin E1 electronics give you complete control over your sound, with volume, tone, and phase controls for shaping your plugged-in tone and reducing feedback.
