Description

Here’s what Warwick say about the Warwick RockBass Corvette SS 5-String Bass Guitar in Natural Transparent Satin:

The Warwick RockBass Corvette SS 5-String bass guitar is an affordable bass guitar built with features normally found on more expensive bass guitars. Part of the latest RockBass line-up, this five-string bass features various significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, including a flat wenge fretboard lined with 24 extra-tall jumbo frets that have been rounded off with increased playing comfort. What’s more, the electronics compartment has been shielded with copper to keep noise to a minimum.

The body of the RockBass Corvette $$ is made from Ash and comes loaded with two powerful MEC humbuckers alongside an active 3-band EQ and a blend control for maximum tone-tweaking potential. The build is fully stabilised by a three-piece Maple neck that’s been reinforced with Ekanga, while the tuning stability is firmed up by a two-way truss rod and a Just a Nut III Tedur nut.

Bass Guitars

Bass guitars form the backbone of a band’s sound, sitting between rhythm and harmony to give music depth, weight, and movement. Available in electric and acoustic forms, they focus on delivering strong, controlled low frequencies while remaining clear and responsive to playing dynamics. Factors like scale length, string type, and pickup design all influence tone and feel, allowing bass guitars to suit a wide range of styles and techniques. Whether laying down solid grooves or exploring more melodic lines, a good bass guitar anchors the music and brings everything together.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
