The Sandberg California II TM is a stunning bass layering classic colours on top of a modern offset silhouette, all in combination with a duo of high power Delano humbucker and single-coil pickups. It’s the best of both traditional and contemporary, built in Germany for crisp performance and sound. Vintage meets modern style This bass is guaranteed to turn heads in an iconic soft aged Lake Placed Blue finish, perfectly complimented with a matching oversized headstock, chrome hardware and a tortoiseshell pickguard. There are some lovely little touches like the three dots on the 12th fret and vintage style tuners. Versatile tone with Delano pickups The Delano pickup combo is where the Cali fornia TM really comes into its own. The humbucker bridge pickup provides punchy bass and glittery highs, with a linear dynamic response throughout the entire frequency range. The Delano JMVC in the neck position keeps with the strong bass and warm lows, with a clean middle response and fast attack. Both will stay tight tuned low, making for an excellent choice whether you’re covering traditional or modern sounds. The active Sandberg 3-band EQ preamp system adds even more versatility to this already perfect combination. With its 34” scale length and flawlessly PLEK’d fingerboard, you’ll never want to put this 4-string California II bass down.
