The Ibanez AJ70M1E-BK is a full-bodied electro acoustic that delivers rich, piano-like chords and enveloping textures in a sleek Black High Gloss finish. With a solid Sitka Spruce top, jumbo body and stage-ready electronics, it’s built to inspire whether you’re strumming big open chords, layering textures in the studio or taking your songs to the stage.

A comfortable Nyatoh neck and Laurel fingerboard make the AJ70M1E-BK super playable, while the Laurel bridge and Okoume body work together to produce a warm, woody response with plenty of projection. Plug in, and the Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp capture that natural acoustic character with clarity and control, complete with an onboard tuner and dual outputs for flexible live setups.

Solid Sitka Spruce top

A solid Sitka Spruce top provides a wide frequency range with tight mids, full low end and waves of shimmering highs. This responsiveness rewards both gentle fingerpicking and hard strumming, giving you a dynamic, expressive instrument that will open up even more as it is played over time.

Comfortable neck & warm Laurel fingerboard

The Nyatoh neck offers a rich mid-low character and is carved for comfort across the entire 25.5-inch scale. A Laurel fingerboard adds warmth to the tone and a smooth playing surface, while acrylic block inlays give a clear visual guide up the neck.

Stage-ready electronics

The Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup accurately translates the guitar’s full acoustic sound when amplified. Paired with the AEQ-TP2 preamp, you get an onboard tuner, 2-band EQ and both balanced XLR and 1/4″ outputs, making it easy to go straight into a PA, audio interface or acoustic amp with confident, controllable tone.
