Utilising the tried and tested combination of a Mahogany body with a set Mahagony neck and a carved AA Maple figured top with a duo of humbucking pickups, this Les Paul has all the rich harmonic sustain and midrange thump that helped put Gibson Les Pauls on the map. Its Ultra-Modern weight-relief system helps keep this Les Paul feather light and its duo of Burstbucker Pro pickups offers classic PAF tones with added depth and aggression, perfect for modern playing styles. Other upgraded features include a new assortment of gloss Nitrocellulose finishes with complementary plastics, as well as cream binding around the fingerboard and vintage-styled tuners. With its included soft shell bag, the reimagined Les Paul Studio is the perfect workhorse Les Paul!

Burstbucker Pro

Sometimes the answer is simply, more! The Burstbucker Pro takes the core foundation of Gibson’s most-loved pickup design, the PAF, and makes it more with the addition of Alnico 5 magnets. They still maintain the complex musical harmonics, crystal highs and rich midrange but with an added fatness and weight to the notes along with enhanced attitude and power. These pickups can do everything from the sweet dynamic tones of Gibson’s golden era all the way to earth-shattering chaos. Thanks to the Les Paul Studio’s coil-splitting capabilities it’s easy to find the perfect sound no matter what genre you’re playing.

Ultra-Modern Weight-Relief

Gibson’s most thoroughly thought-out weight-relief system produces the lightest Les Paul possible without any sacrifice to the famed Les Paul tone! Continuing from where Gibson’s Modern weight-relief system left off, the Ultra-Modern system pushes things even further in the quest to strike the optimum balance between tone, weight and resonance. Each of the systems holes has been carefully calculated to ensure that this Les Paul Studio is as light as possible while still maintaining the typical solid body mid-focused thump that Les Pauls are famous for and not stepping into more semi-hollow tone territories. It also ensures that the balance between the head and body remains the same.
