Description

The Ibanez AEG Series' slender, single-cutaway bodies deliver powerful and balanced acoustic sound, unplugged or through an amp or PA system. These guitars combine easy playability, classic solid and burst finishes, and intuitive electronics to create a quality, workhorse acoustic guitar that will rise to any occasion. High quality Ibanez under-saddle pickups and preamps with onboard tuners provide sparkling tones that sound great in any environment.

  • Walnut Fingerboard — Features a well-balanced tonal character from low to high end.
  • Ibanez T-Bar II Undersaddle Pickup — Reduces noise and provides a wide range of natural piezo-style sound.
  • Ibanez AEQ-TTS Preamp with Onboard Tuner — The small and simple preamp offers two controls: volume and shape. A natural acoustic sound is found in the centre position on the shape knob and allows players to easily adjust from low, fat and powerful tones to a bright and crisp sound while using only one control. A new, easy-to-read onboard tuner with LCD (liquid crystal display) is located on the preamp.
  • Walnut Bridge — The Walnut bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.
  • Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins — Easier to take out and simpler to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
