Description

The PRS CE 24 first hit the scene back in 1988, designed to give players that unmistakable bolt-on snap and sparkle, but with all the elegance and playability you’d expect from PRS. Fast forward to today, and the CE 24 is still turning heads with its sleek double-cutaway design, 24 frets, dual humbuckers, and a Mahogany body topped with a stunning Maple cap. Bolt-on brilliance At first glance, the CE 24 could easily be mistaken for a Custom 24, with its figured Maple top and iconic bird inlays. But dig a little deeper and you’ll discover a few clever tweaks that make this guitar a completely different beast, most notably its bolt-on construction. While the Mahogany body delivers warmth and rich midrange response, the bolt-on Maple neck adds extra brightness, clarity and the snappy attack players love. CE 24 Special: even more versatility This CE 24 Special model takes things up a notch, bringing hum/single/hum versatility to the CE bolt-on platform. The addition of a PRS NS-01 single-coil pickup in the middle position, paired with a 5-way blade switch, unlocks a huge range of tones to suit virtually any genre. It’s also equipped with PRS 85/15 pickups in the neck and bridge positions, delivering articulate highs, powerful output and exceptional flexibility. Ready to hit the road A premium PRS gig bag comes included, so you’re ready to take this guitar wherever the music leads. Meanwhile, the patented PRS tremolo bridge and Phase III locking tuners provide impressive tuning stability, even through your most expressive performances.Key Features ‘Pattern Thin’ neck shape: Provides a natural, addictive feel with the non-tacky satin nitro finish letting you glide freely up and down the neck. 85/15 humbuckers: Uncovered humbuckers with remarkable clarity and extended high and low end, perfect for more modern applications. NS-01 middle single-coil: Delivers crisp, articulate single-coil character, opening up a huge range of tones from shimmering cleans to funky quack and everything in between.
