Description

Ibanez SR basses are among some of the finest available on the market. With a notoriously thin neck profile and punchy Nordstrand pickups, the SR2600-CBB will meet the standards of even professional bassists.

Construction

A Mahogany body provides a strong low-end thump, with plenty of bold mid-range to let notes really pop and get heard in a busy mix. Adorned with a stunning Poplar Burl top, this gives the bass a sharper top-end to deliver more definition and clarity.

The 5-piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart neck is super-sturdy, with its multi-piece design making it less-susceptible to warping in differing temperatures. The bolt-on construction will ensure a snappy response, giving your playing a fast and precise attack.

Electronics

A dual dose of Nordstrand Big Single pickups will ensure that all of the excellent tonal qualities of the woods are translated. With a full-bodied and punchy sound, these pickups are versatile for a raft of different musical styles.

With Ibanez's own electronics, you can easily control and manipulate your town. An onboard 3-band EQ will allow you to sculpt the perfect bass tone, along with a 3-way mid frequency switch and a bypass switch if you want a pure unaffected sound.
