Description

Sigma are renowned for their high-quality acoustic guitars; modestly-priced so that they're attainable for players of all budgets. The LM-SGE is no exception to this ethos, formed from a great selection of tonewoods and providing excellent playability. Fitted with a proprietary Sigma preamp, this stunning instrument can be easily amplified for on-stage use or even recording scenarios.

Rich Mahogany Body

Featuring Mahogany back and sides, the Sigma LM-SGE produces a deep and resonant sound with a beautifully warm and musical low-end. Adorned with a Solid Sitka Spruce top, this helps to bring out some airy top-end character; giving lush chords progressions or finger-picked arpeggios all of the beautiful clarity they'd need to cut through in a mix.

Luxurious Neck

A low-profile Mahogany neck provides a substantial yet comfortable feel, with its rounded tonal properties merging well with the matching back and side body timbers. Fitted with a Micarta fretboard, this sleek wood offers a smooth touch under the fingers — making fretting a joy! A bone nut/saddle enhances sustain and keeps a traditional vibe.

Electro-Acoustic Guitars

Electro-acoustic guitars combine the natural sound and feel of an acoustic guitar with built-in electronics for amplification. Fitted with pickups and preamp controls, they allow you to plug directly into an amp, PA system, or recording setup while retaining an acoustic character. They’re ideal for live performance, rehearsal, and home recording, offering volume control and tonal adjustment without relying solely on microphones. Electro-acoustic guitars suit players who want the warmth and responsiveness of an acoustic instrument with the flexibility to play amplified when needed.

Electro-Acoustic

Electro-acoustic guitars are acoustic instruments fitted with built-in pickups or microphones that allow them to be amplified or connected directly to a PA system or amplifier. They retain the natural acoustic tone and feel of a traditional acoustic guitar while adding the convenience of onboard electronics.

They are commonly used for live performance and recording, especially in situations where consistent volume and clarity are needed. Electro-acoustic guitars often include controls for volume and tone, and sometimes built-in tuners, making them a practical choice for gigging musicians who want an acoustic sound with modern flexibility.
