Xotic is a boutique guitar and effects company founded in 1996 in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley. It began as a one-man operation by Hiro Miura, focusing on high-quality bass guitars and preamps. The introduction of the Tri-Logic Bass Preamp set Xotic apart, offering bassists a unique onboard preamp solution. In 1998, Xotic ventured into effects pedals with the Robotalk 1, an innovative envelope filter that established the brand’s reputation for boutique craftsmanship and distinctive tone.
