Experience retro seventies style with the Squier Classic Vibe ‘70s Stratocaster HSS. A true homage to the early days of iconic Fender guitars.

Those of you after vintage tone and looks will love what this Strat has to offer.

Unlike the originals, the Classic Vibe range is equipped with modern hardware and custom electronics, making this the perfect instrument to see you through your guitar journey.

Body and Neck

A four-screw bolt-on neck connects the Poplar body and Maple neck – a relatively lightweight yet sturdy combination.

You’ll feel right at home on the C-shaped neck profile with an easy playing 9.5” radius. Extremely comfortable for the fretting hand and great for chords.

The Maple fingerboard evokes true classic vibes and feels smooth underneath the tall and narrow frets.

These are a real throwback to mid-twentieth century guitars, unlike many modern variants equipped with jumbo frets.

Sound

HSS Strats are some of the most versatile guitars ever created. The Classic Vibe range has a completely revamped pickup design from Fender, accurately recreating vintage tone.

The alnico bridge humbucker has a thick grunt, with plenty of drive and weight to follow up. Combine it using the middle single coil and you get a sweet and expressive sound great for solos.

Its neck pickup has plenty of clarity ideal for smooth cleans or more soulful lead playing.

Hardware

The Strat HSS utilises a classic floating bridge system for strong bends or subtle tremolo effects. You can get truly creative with your playing.

It also features a 1960s inspired large headstock, nickel-plated hardware and a tinted gloss neck finish to get you in the experimental seventies’ mood.

Black

Black is a classic and versatile colour choice for guitars, amps, pedals, and accessories. It’s sleek, timeless, and suits every style—from understated elegance to full-on rock attitude. Whether you’re after a high-gloss finish on a guitar, a rugged black amp for the stage, or matching accessories, this category brings together all things black in the world of music gear. Ideal for those who prefer a bold, professional look that never goes out of style.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibrations into an electrical signal, which is then amplified. Unlike acoustic guitars, they rely on amplification for volume and tone shaping, making them highly versatile in genres like rock, blues, jazz, and metal. Electric guitars come in many body styles—solid, semi-hollow, and hollow—and feature different pickup configurations, neck types, and hardware. From smooth clean tones to aggressive distortion, they offer a wide sonic range, making them the backbone of modern guitar music.

Fingerboard

The fingerboard—also known as the fretboard—is the flat, narrow surface on the front of a guitar’s neck where your fingers press the strings to create notes and chords. It’s typically made from hardwoods like rosewood, maple, or ebony, each offering a different feel and tonal character. The fingerboard plays a major role in a guitar’s playability, influencing everything from comfort and speed to tone and response. Features like inlays, fret size, and radius can vary, making the fingerboard a personal preference for many players—it’s where the music truly comes to life under your fingers.

HSS

Maple

Maple is a popular tonewood used in the construction of guitar necks, fretboards, and bodies. Known for its bright, clear sound with strong attack and sustain, maple adds definition and snap to your tone. It’s also prized for its durability and smooth playing feel. Visually, maple often features a light, attractive grain and can be finished in various ways to highlight its natural beauty. Many iconic guitars use maple components to achieve that classic, vibrant sound.

Stratocaster

The Stratocaster, often referred to simply as the “Strat,” is an iconic model of electric guitar designed and manufactured by the American company Fender. Introduced in 1954, the Stratocaster quickly became one of the most popular and influential electric guitars in history, known for its sleek design, versatile tone, and playability.

The Fender Stratocaster has been played by countless musicians across various genres and continues to be a favorite among guitarists worldwide for its timeless design, versatile tone, and legendary playability. It has undergone numerous iterations and variations over the years, including signature models for famous artists, but its core features and iconic design have remained largely unchanged, solidifying its status as a true classic in the world of electric guitars
