Like most vintage octave boxes the Argo reacts best with single coils above the 10th fret, rolling back your volume helps the octave jump out as well.
All Mythos Pedals operate on standard 9 volt dc power adapters. Center negative only. Mythos Pedals do not have internal 9 volt battery clips.
